Kylie Minogue was inducted into the ARIA hall of fame by Prime Minister Julia Gillard. The news is spreading like wild fire and so are the photos. We have it all for you! Kylie has been in the music business for 25 years, and the fans couldn’t be prouder of all her accomplishments. According to allure of sound.com, Kylie received several standing ovations during the ceremony and thanked her long-time manager Terry Blamey, Michael Gudinski (Mushroom Records) and her family, including Dannii who was also in attendance.
Speaking of Dannii, there is some news floating around about her as well. Recently the other Minogue sat down with NOW magazine and shared some great news… “I just heard two really good demos the other day and got excited. It isn’t out of the question, but it just hasn’t been possible because there’ve been so many Dannii’s running around – fashion designer, author, judge, mum. There wasn’t room for Disco Dannii. I’m keeping my mind and options open. I’d love to be back on UK television. I want to make that happen. I miss the UK. Maybe I need to go away and write my own show.”
Dannii released her last studio album, Club Disco, in 2008. The album had six singles: “You Won’t Forget About Me”, “Perfection”, “So Under Pressure”, “I Can’t Sleep at Night”, “He’s the Greatest Dancer” and “Touch Me Like That” — five of which reached number one on the UK Dance Chart.
Here’s a little pic spam of the Minogue family, and the photos from ARIA’s hall of fame…
