Miss Rihanna is in the news again and this time its not for her number one single!
Rihanna, who’s number one on the Fusion Charts this week, was hospitalized with a bad case of the FLU. According to TMZ, this young singer had to cancel her Halloween show due to the illness and exhaustion. The singer’s symptoms got so bad she was hospitalized and treated with an IV, which she later tweeted a photo of, along with an apology to fans.
But can the flu really get that bad? The CDC says it depends. “Flu is unpredictable and how severe it is can vary widely from one season to the next depending on many things, including what flu viruses are spreading, how much flu vaccine is available, when vaccine is available, how many people get vaccinated and how well the flu vaccine is matched to flu viruses that are causing illness,” the CDC says.

Scheduled on her “Loud Tour” the Halloween show was expected to take place in the Swedish city of Malmo; when the sickness took over. There is no information regarding her canceled Malmo concert as of right now.
