Our buddies over at Allure of sound.com have some great mixes that I just had to share. There are always going to be some ‘Leading Ladies’ in the dance music world that will maybe re-release a remix of an old favorite. Or, come out with a new hit! Either way, they always seem to blow my mind, and now lets see what our Fusionites think shall we?
The Manufactured Superstars, an electro, progressive, and house music DJ/production duo made up of Brad Roulier and Shawn Sabo, have done just that with the Annie Lennox classic “Little Bird”. They have given the song an update and transformed it into a feel good club anthem. I have always been a fan of the original version of “Little Bird”, which was released as a single from Annie’s album Diva in 1993. The song was officially remixed by the Utah Saints back then, but the Manufactured Superstars mix is my new fave.

DJ Dan Murphy has shared two fantastic remixes of Kylie Minogue’s “Timebomb”. But wait, it gets better….he is offering them for free download. Apparently, the remixes were officially commissioned, but not used. “Well we found out today that our remixes for Kylie Minogue’s “Timebomb” didn’t end up being used on the EP,” the DJ wrote on Facebook. “However, we can now share them so you can finally hear what they’re like!”
The remix package for “Timebomb”, which includes mixes from Dada, Peter Rauhofer, Italia3, Steven Redant & Phil Romano and Style Of Eye, will be released via iTunes in the United States on Tuesday
