“Tonight I’m gonna throw the past away….”
Kat Graham has a new number one hit on her hands if you ask us here at Fusion! She just released a video for her newest hit “Wanna Say”, and I have to admit I think this song has some soul. I love the lyrics, and the meaning behind the beats. What do you think fusionites? Do we love it or hate it?
Kat Graham has released the Benny Boom directed music video to accompany her latest single “Wanna Say”. The track, which continues to move up the dance charts, is the second official music video and single from Kat’s 2012 A&M/Octone debut EP, “Against The Wall,” and follow-up to her first single, “Put Your Graffiti On Me,” which reached Top 5 on the Billboard Dance Club Chart.

“This music video is the biggest production in terms of cast we have ever done. My idea for it was to give it a bit of an old school vibe in parts. Scenes that take you back in time when everyone sang dance and acted. It’s dance heavy, fun and sexy.” -Kat Graham

Ok ok calm down fanatics! Maybe it’s a little too soon for predictions but why else would The Wanted’s Max George have Lindsay meet his parents? Maybe they are not getting hitched (or dating for that matter) but TMZ reported yesterday that Lindsay Lohan and Wanted singer Max George Spent sometime in the U.K. hanging with Max’s family. Lindsay and Max have (unofficially) been seeing each other since back in November when they met at a NYC nightclub.
TMZ also said that ”while in Manchester Max and Lindsay hung with the entire George clan and Lindsay felt right at home”. Seems that Lindsay has been making a lot of time for Max and its rumored that she has been following the band for sometime now. We really hope that Max can ground Lindsay, and keep her out of trouble. In the mean time Lindsay probably should not miss anymore court dates if she wants to see more of Max without bars between them.

For some time now we have known that the Biebs and Selena Gomez are broken up. Uhh at least we think they are broken up?! But fans everywhere seem to hold on to the idea that maybe they are still together? Sorry Bieber/Gomez fans but it seems Selena has moved on, Perezhilton.com posted the following on Monday.
“It seems that now that Selena is single, she felt like getting flirty withHunger Games star, Josh Hutcherson!
Eyewitnesses say Selena and Josh danced the night away together and that Vanessa Hudgens saw it ALL happen, firsthand!
Not only that, but supposedly, Bieber’s ex was spotted leaving the Beverly Hilton with Josh (below) — note the hand holding!”

This picture is compliments of Perezhilton.com and seems to show Selena having some fun after Sunday nights Golden Globes.
We don’t mind Selena calling it quits with the Biebster but we would love to hear some new music coming from the Pop/Dance Singer! It was rumored that Selena has been writing break-up songs about Justin Bieber for her upcoming album. Seems the star is taking a page from the Queen of break up song Taylor Swift!
I guess we will have to wait and see if Selena takes the Taylor Swift route and spill all the info on Bieber in her upcoming album.

Alright Fusion listeners…. there has been a lot of speculations on where Electric Daisy Carnival will be held in Chicago. Since not all of our listeners are from the Chicago-land area, I wanted to shed some light on the possibilities.
EDC Chicago Tweeted on December 13th that the possibility for the the 2013 event could be Soldier Field (On the Chicago Lake Front), Chicago Land Speedway (50 miles outside the City of Chicago), or Toyota Park (25 Miles outside the City of Chicago). The EDC Chicago twitter feed did say it confirmed the 300,000+ person venue. So lets break down which one of these venues could hold that many people.
*Soldier Field’s Capacity is 61,500 people in the stands, its possible for another 5,000 or so to fit on the field.
*Chicago Land Speedway’s Capacity is $75,000 and sits on 930 acres of land which can hold more than 50,000 cars in its parking lots.
*Toyota Park’s Capacity is 28,000 for concerts, and only has a 6,000 car capacity in its 3 parking lots!
If I had to bet on which venue was going to be hosting the 300,000+ person crowd I would say it has to be Chicago Land Speedway! 75,000 people in the stands, room for 50,000 cars, and don’t forget all of the space on the track level. I guess we will have to wait till January 16th for the final answer to where EDC Chicago will be held.
Check out the Promo video from 2012!

Our resident cutie pie with the voice as light as a feather has some awesome behind the scenes ‘Go Shows’ over on vevo that I thought was pretty interesting. Its always fun to see an artist in a different light.
When I think of Ellie Goulding, I think of ‘Lights’… hot dance beats, some crazy rhythms, and Skrillex. So, I thought it was nice and refreshing to see her singing light and airy at The Standard in LA. check it out!
Here the original song, which I also love… what do you think Fusionites? Do we love it or hate it?
Ok here we go! Bring on the 90′s news Fusionites!
Kristine W. is in the news with the new remix of her 1996 single ‘One more Try’. UK-based remix & production team JRMX has remixed Kristine’s dance classic “One More Try” from her latest album, New & Number Ones. The album, available on iTunes, features remixes from Bimbo Jones, Lee Dagger, Digital Dog, and many many others.
Then we have another heavy hitting one hit wonder from the 90′s miss Jennifer Paige, also in the news this week due to some new work coming her way. Teaming up with German dance project York, Jennifer dropped some hot vocals for a new single. “Lost Under The Sun” is taken from York’s album Islanders, which is available on iTunes via Armin van Buuren’s trance label Armada.
‘Lost under the sun’ is amazing, and I’m not the only one who agrees!
With the hauntingly beautiful song, both York and Jennifer Paige present one of the strongest dance tracks of the year. “Lost Under The Sun” is the kind of song a trance music fans is always on the lookout for. It hits every mark, while building its own unique atmospheric soundscape.

Well do I have a treat for you Fusion fans! A snippet of Christina Aguilera’s new single “Your Body” has been leaked and I have here here for you to listen and report back if you like it or not.

We’ve been waiting to hear Christina Aguilera‘s new single longer than we can remember (hopefully, you sill remembered that it was coming our way), and today the demo recording of Xtina’s collaboration with pop hit maker Max Martin (!) has finally surfaced. Head here to stream the song (before it inevitably gets taken down).
Could this be a great choice for remixers everywhere??

Emma Hewitt, lovingly referred to at Fusion headquarters as ‘the chick with the bad-ass haircut’, is back with a new remix! I can hardly contain myself over here… I love her, I hope you guys enjoy this as much as I do.
Here’s some of the details that we compiled from our buddies over at Allure of Sound…
Australian born vocalist/songwriter Emma Hewitt will release a remix version of her debut album Burn The Sky Down, which was released in May of this year, on July 27, 2012. The remix album features mixes from some of the biggest names in the business: Armin van Buuren, Cosmic Gate, Morgan Page, tyDi, Venom One, Shogun, Arnej, Dabruck & Klein and more.
If you haven’t had the chance to check out Emma’s debut album, you really should. The album manages to successfully blur the lines between pop and dance. I always find it interesting to hear a genre being manipulated and stretched in such an effective manner. The LP is one of the most intriguing albums of the year so far. You can pre-order Burn The Sky Down (The Remixes) on iTunes now.
