So did we all see Madonna’s Super Bowl performance this past Sunday? If you did you would know that the Queen of Pop highlighted the show with three of her biggest hits! Madge also debuted her new single from her soon to be released album MDNA!
With dancers, a gospel choir, a marching band, and guest appearances by M.I.A, Nicki Menaj, LMFAO, and Cee lo Green, the material girl herself displayed that she can put on a ridiculous display of entertainment in just twelve minutes, satisfying even the beer chugging, pork rind eating masses! Check out her latest music video that accompanies her newest single, Give Me All Your Lovin’ featuring Nicki Minaj and M.I.A (without her flpping the bird)!

For those of you who don’t know, Stereosonic is a festival that takes place in Australia every year and it’s EPIC. I know a bunch of us here at Fusion that would have loved to go partake in the festivities. Take a look at some of the info on the shows, and some official photos that ended the 2011 tour! Don’t forget the video of epic proportions here on you-tube. There are also tons more photos, and some really great reviews from the festival over at In the Mix that everyone should read.

Stereosonic 2011 has been a pile of issues so far! I’m not sure in what order all these problems started occurring, but between credit card fraud on the innocent ticket holders… to a ‘leaked’ set list in Sydney, I think this festival has seen it all.
Here’s the news on the ticket info according to local Aussie news…
The festival organizers have made an announcement addressing a “serious issue”. You can read the full statement below.
We have been warned by our banks and Moshtix to be aware of an increase in fraudulent credit card activity and selling of invalid .PDF tickets. This is an industry wide problem that is not just for Dance Music events but apply to a variety of events including the purchasing from 3rd parties any Moshtix .PDF tickets.
We would like to simply say:
1. Do not purchase Moshtix .PDF tickets from anyone except moshtix.com.au or authorized outlets, as they are likely to be fraudulent tickets if purchased through another channel.
2. Think about your purchase, why would someone be selling tickets under face value for one of the hottest events.If you are suspicious or If you have any questions, feel free to contact the moshtix team 1300 GET TIX or ticketsupport@moshtix.com.au
If you purchase a .PDF ticket from an unauthorized seller, you run the risk of the ticket been cancelled, fake or invalid and you will not be able to access the event. Buy tickets from authorized ticketing companies or our industry sellers.
Then of course there’s more bad news! Someone leaked some information back in June of this year to ‘In the Mix’
“Due to a miscommunication between the billboard company and the company responsible for installation, a portion of the Stereosonic lineup was released onto billboards in Sydney. Rumours are circulating that the billboard company staff were so excited about this years lineup, they just had to share it with Sydney’s commuters a week early.”
Aside from all the “hoopla” going around they have some amazing artists/DJ’s set to rock the house this year. StereoSonic is reported to take place all over the Aussie kingdom this winter.
