Kylie Minogue told to lip-sync at Thankgiving Day Parade

In an interview with iheartradio; Kylie Minogue stated that “she was told to” [lip-sync] her song during the 2010 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Fusion Radio will vouch for her, a real vocalist cannot sing on a moving platform. Fusion Radio has had a float with an artist for five out of six Annual Chicago Pride Parades and we require all artists to mime for many reasons including….

* The weather hazard of a live mic (being outside without an overhead).
* The moving platform makes it impossible for anyone to hit proper notes.
* Generally not enough room on a float for the proper equipment.

and just for the record, rapping is not singing [Kanye] and Jessica Simpson doesn’t count. :
