Last years “Reload” by Sebastian Ingrosso, Tommy Trash, John Martin got little YouTube make-over “Game of Thrones” style. There has been a ton of talk around the hit show, no wonder the rest of the world is starting to follow in its foot-steps. This hit was originally released last year, but has recently been re-released with some new vocals AND has a great video along with it this time. Check it out!
Tommy Trash and Sebastian Ingrosso’s “Reload” was first released last year, but the newer vocal mix courtesy of “Don’t You Worry Child” crooner John Martin now has a video.
The dance titans (Ingrosso just finished touring as one third of Swedish House Mafia and Trash was nominated for a Grammy for his remix of Deadmau5′ “The Veldt”) don’t appear in the video, which instead sees a man working through some “Game of Thrones” style challenges before reuniting with his lover.

Addicting, that’s the word that comes to mind when I first heard this track. “Fade” has some serious meaning in the lyrics, and some heavy drops in the beat. It has quickly been put on repeat in my car, iPod, everywhere really. Check it out Fusionites! Do we love it or hate it?
Here are some lyrics for you’re enjoyment!
Find myself picking up the pieces of me that you discarded
So, this is what they talk about when they say, ‘broken hearted’
Thought I was a together kind of person, the type who had a handle
As fate would have it I’m exploding like a roman candle.
And it’s pretty in the sky
Such a beautiful way to die
But I want my sparkle back
Why does it always fade to black?
I thought that ignition meant the beginning of something
Really got me going and let me fizzle to nothing
You could’ve have anything you wanted from me, I’m a catch
I looked up to you so much, it’s a shame you never noticed that.
And it’s pretty in the sky
Such a beautiful way to die
But I want my sparkle back
Why does it always fade to black?
We never said goodbye
At least you don’t get to see me cry.
Did you mean to blow me up?
I just wanted to be loved.
I just wanted to be loved.
And it’s pretty in the sky
Such a beautiful way to die
But I want my sparkle back
Why does it always fade to black?
It’s time for a Fusion spotlight everyone! We have a little dual going on at the station and we want some Fusion listener input. There’s another Guetta feat. Sia tune out, and I want to know what tickles your fancy Fusionites.
Do we love it or hate it? Take a peak at the “She Wolf (Falling to Pieces)”, which hit the air waves about 7 months ago…
… not to be confused with “Titanium” which also features the hypnotic vocals of Sia. This single was released some time ago which makes both tracks Veterans on the charts. Oldies but goodies guys!
New music alert Fusionites! Are you ready for another hit? April 14th, 2013 Calvin Harris feat Ellie Goulding hit YouTube with “I need your love”.
They look pretty close in the video no? To me, this seems like a match made in HEAVEN, and I love her vocals in this. I think this pair is made for a hit. What do you guys think? Do we love it, or hate it? The original version of “I Need Your Love” is on Harris’ latest album, 18 Months.
When Calvin Harris teamed with Ellie Goulding last year for “I Need Your Love,” they created a celestial track with swift synth blips, striking piano stabs and grinding, toothy electro bass. But on this new remix, Nicky Romero takes the spirit of the original and reworks each feature with added intensity. Synths still blip, yet flitter and blink with newly hypnotizing effect. Syncopated drums pierce through more than in the original, and Romero lets the track burn slowly before erupting with overwhelming, grandiose fervor.

With Daft Punk’s new album “Random Access Memories“, set to release May 21st 2013, the buzz around them in the music scene is unstoppable. There is some new news on the street about their Coachella appearance as well. Sources say that they are NOT going to be performing after all.
Daft Punk will not be performing at Coachella. A rep for the famed electronic duo tells Rolling Stone that despite the fact that VEVO listed them as performing in Indio, Calif. on one of the first weekend’s days, there are no plans for Daft Punk to appear at the festival.
This year’s path to Coachella (which takes place across two weekends in April) has been rife with speculation. Daft Punk was among the acts initially rumored to perform before the line-up was released. The group last played the festival in 2007. The Rolling Stones were also said to be in talks with organizers, who even posted a photo of a large stone lying in the grass of the Indio Polo Fields. But alas, that was not meant to be.

Also aside from that, their new album has been getting GREAT reviews from some of the big names in music. Rolling Stone reported that “Daft Punk’s New Album Is ‘A Step Forward’ for Dance Music”. That is quite the compliment if you ask me!
“Daft Punk wanted to do something and do it in a way that’s not done by just pushing a note or a chord,” says Moroder. “You definitely hear that it’s nice and full; the drums and the bass have that warm, that full sound. . . This is like a step forward.”
Moroder also goes into his musical history with a story of how he “met the synthesizer” and with tales of working with Summer, the joys of dance music, first hearing Daft Punk’s “One More Time” and more. “What the world needs now is not only good dance songs, which I think are out,” he says. “The world needs something new.”

What’s that funky beat you’re hearing? It’s Fusion’s Video Pick this week Asher Monroe with his newest hit “Here With You”. I am really digging this song this week, check it out Fusionites!
“I wanted an anthem-feeling, fun-vibe song that people could blast in their cars and put their hands up to”
Asher might seem like the new guy on the block at the moment, but he’s been in the business for YEARS! Starring in productions from the age of seven on, Asher has established himself as a actor long before his musical debut. Recently he sat down with billboard for their cover story. He dished the dirt on everything from his new album to working with Chris Brown. “I definitely think we’re in for not just one song,” Monroe says. “I have a lot of tracks that I’ve already produced, but if he wants to do more, I’m not going to say ‘no.’”
Drawing inspiration from Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Queen and Elton John, Monroe and his team have been working for two years to craft a selection of pop-driven tracks that will both showcase his voice and stick in listeners’ heads.
“All of my songs are very melodic, very fun and catchy,” Monroe says. “I always want people leaving my songs remembering the hook.”
Monroe has already recorded more than a dozen songs, says co-producer/co-writer Alon Levitan, who also works under D Empire to co-manage the 24-year-old singer. However, because those songs were recorded before Brown was attached to the project, most will probably not make it onto the upcoming album.

I was tuned into Fusion TV and I saw this new Carmen Electra video “I like it Loud”, and I was very intrigued. I didn’t even know she was making music right now! How off the boat am I? Anyway, do you love it or hate it fusionites?
Although, I have to tell you guys, I would have never expected this from her. Did you ever think Carmen the babe from Baywatch would be making dance music? It was pretty good I thought! She has a smokin’ body, flashing lights and disco balls, and boys dressed like girls! What’s not to like?
This song premiered on E online in Feb check it out…
There’s nothing quiet about Carmen Electra‘s new music video for her single “I Like It Loud.” And we mean that in a really good way.
Whether it’s the pulsating lights, the energetic dancing in the streets or the colorful cast of characters the sexy songstress has surrounded herself with as she makes her way around town, the vid definitely reflects the tune’s lyrics.
“Don’t want to think too much/Just turn the music up/Yeah, I like it loud,” Electra sings repeatedly throughout the track.

I am addicted to this new Cascada song. “Glorious” was released just a few days ago on Spinnin’ TV, and I haven’t been able to stop listening to it since.
Cascada will represent Germany at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö with the song Glorious.
Unser Song für Malmö was the title of the German national final this year, and now the German TV viewers have indeed found their Eurovision entry. In a spectacular show, presented by the host of the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest, Anke Engelke, Cascada was in the end chosen to be the German representative!
Eurovision Tv.
With nearly 10 years under their belt and over 30 million records sold, Cascada is one of the most successful dance-pop acts in the world. The trio, consisting of Natalie Horlier, DJ Manian, and Yanou was around when I was growing up. I remember listening to them in time of my life that were some of the best times. You guys remember ‘Everytime We Touch’ don’t you!?
