Alright Fusionites we have another Fuse it or Lose it for you. Rihanna’s newest single features EDM’s king David Guetta. “Right Now” has some great beats mixed along with the vocals of Ri-Ri, this is definately a winning combination. You guys check it out what do you think?
What’s it gonna be guys? Do we love it, or hate it?
So far the album artwork has been released via her twitter “Right Now,” featuring David Guetta is off her latest album, Unpoloagetic. She tweeted the single artwork along with this… “#RIGHTNOW #BRANDNEW #SINGLECOVER #Unapologetic #SummerAnthem #NavyTakeOva”
Jessie J. was in my favorite place last weekend! Morocco welcomed her with open arms for the Mawazine World Rhythms International Music Festival. This years festival takes place in the capital city of Rabat… where Rihanna performed just days before Jessie J. Ri-ri actually opened the 12th annual fest this year.
They host guests from all over the world, and I’m sure the guests love being there just as much Morocco enjoys welcoming them. Jessie J put on a stellar headlining concert in the second day of Morocco’s biggest music festival debuting a few seconds from her new single “Wild”!
‘I’m literally blown away right now! What a crowd and what a show! I’m soooo emotional!’ she Tweeted following her performance.
Jessie J wooed the crowd with her amazing performance, yet also drew attention with her daring outfit choice? Pictured above with a top and basically no pants she still kicked some major booty with her performances.
It has been a particularly busy 24 hours for the Price Tag singer as she appeared on UK TV in the latest episode of The Voice also and released a brand new single called Wild.
Jessie had discussed the song – which also features Dizzee Rascal and Big Sean – ahead of its release, saying ‘It’s scary opening yourself up to the world, to create intrigue around your life. It’s also the most exhilarating feeling to feel free.’

Rihanna rocked her Diamonds tour show in LA on Monday (April 8), while taking a moment with her crowd. Right now with her relationship with Chris Brown on the mend, she took a moment to chat about love and romance with her crowd at the Staples Center.
“How many of you are in love? How many of you hate love? How many of you don’t f****** understand it? I’m in that group.”
Glad to know I’m not the only one Riri… we all have moments don’t we? Although, miss thing hasn’t opened up about her relationship with Chris Brown, he has recently divulged some info to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show not too long ago.
Brown said: “We are back together. She is the most beautiful girl in the world.
“I just tried my best to be the best man I could be over the years and just show her how remorseful and sorry I was for the incident and that time was probably the worst part of my life and being that she has and she’s a wonderful person I’m eternally grateful and thankful.
“People are entitled to their opinions. I can’t go around blaming. It’s all about my responsibility and me growing up as a man. “So I think now that I’m becoming older, and trying to mature in this life under the public eye at all times, I have to focus on doing the right thing and being more of a humble individual.”

Rihanna returned to Chicago last week without her watch apparently. The singer from Barbados was on her own time frame keeping Barrington High School’s 2,000 students waiting more than 4 hours for a 12 minute appearance. You do the math. Her concert that evening was also fraught with problems. Her opening act rapper A$AP Rocky called in sick leaving her with a DJ to keep the audience appeased as she arrived late once again. This time it couldn’t be blamed on traffic as it was earlier in the day on Twitter. It was 10:00 p.m. when she began her sold out show at the United Center.
Her intro “Mother Mary” started dark and shadowy then moved into the ratchet funk of “Phresh Out the Runway.” “Birthday Cake” was performed without the Chris Brown remix and none of her three collaborations with him were on the set list. Also not that students were not allowed to ask her questions about Brown at the Q&A earlier in the day.
There was a reggae section with “No Love Allowed” and “Man Down.” She worked big tall white boots for “Rude Boy” and with “What’s My Name?” she dropped it to the floor.
She seemed very comfortable this time out compared to her last visit to Chicago.
Maybe it was the backing track that made things easier. There was a background band but no back up singers while dancers stood by her in support. They were no big dance breaks and none of them were allowed to shine like a diamond. There were awkward intermissions throughout the night that many lost patience with and sat down.

Weed was found on her tour bus recently and it was almost impossible to not get a contact high at the herb smoked by some audience members following suit. Speaking of the audience, in attendance it was a mostly urban young crowd with a few gay fellas sprinkled in and I even saw a bouncy drag queen lip servicing along. Rihanna doesn’t have the over the top style of Lady Gaga or Katy Perry to inspire fans to dress like her at a concert so instead a few went for the hoochie look. We are talking hooker heels and fishnets.
“Jump” used samples of Ginuwines’ “Pony” while flames shot up in the air. Standing room only in the pit felt the heat and the loud bass. “Umbrella” of course was a crowd pleaser and “All of the Lights” as well. But some songs were missing like her massive hit “Disturbia.” In her defense she covered a lot of territory with previous chart toppers mixing “S&M” “Only Girl (In the World) and “Don’t Stop the Music” together.
She spoke in generalities asking the fans if anyone has been in love and couldn’t figure it out. This matched the lyrics of “What Now.” I wonder what she was referring to? No, this was not the most subtle show but there were moments when high priced ticket holders want a spectacle and to be entertained. Pink was a great example of this recently at the same venue. There was nothing jaw dropping to see and make it worth people’s time and money. This time RiRi’s show seemed a little half baked and it was definitely not her birthday.

The costume changes were nice throughout the evening but not very exotic or show stopping. Rihanna slipped into a fabulous red dress at one point as black pillars spun around her to keep things moving. Although she refused to keep things classy as she bootie tooched it to people on the front row. “We Found Love” was a highlight of the show with a silver disco outfit. The audience had been waiting a long time to finally dance with her. They got the opportunity when she ran down the aisles in front. This is an old trick that many artists use to engage the audience while stressing out security officers.
There is no denying Rihanna’s hard work by releasing so much material in a short amount of time but she coasted through most of this concert and didn’t break a sweat as in past shows.
Her final encore had her wearing a glittering evening gown singing “Stay” and “Diamonds” giving her a conservative look. With such a long day many were ready to go home after this, some having waited three hours for an hour and a half set paying at least $150. Still doing the math? See what that equals? Is she becoming a diva on the level of Diana Ross, Barbra Streisand or Madonna?
All I know is for her tardiness Rihanna was just like her album title Unapologetic.
Look for a new documentary about her life that may reveal more insight on this performer entitled Rihanna 777 in May on Fox. Don’t worry, that’s not too long of a wait.

Sunday nights broadcast of the 55th Annual Grammy Awards was a night filled with genre mixing presentations, tributes, and shots of Taylor Swift dancing in her seat at every performance.
The Grammy Award is deemed the highest honor in the music industry. As TV has its Emmy, and movies has the Oscar, music has its Grammy. And by the look on everyones face throughout the night, this was the award they’ve been waiting for.
Taylor Swift opened the night with a circus themed (didn’t Britney do that?) performance of “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”, which did not win its only nomination for Record of the Year.
LL Cool J was back at hosting the awards show for a second time. He opened with a speech about “International togetherness”, pointing out the diversity in the room ranging from Rihanna (Barbados), Adele (United Kingdom), to Gotye (Australia). He called the night, “Your show”.
The first presenters were Pitbull & Jennifer Lopez, who “got the memo”, referring to the Grammy announcement that less upper body skin showing would be required this year.
Some of the big winners of the night were Adele for her live performance of “Set Fire To The Rain” winning Pop Solo Performance. Former American Idolette Carrie Underwood won for Best Country Solo Performance as well as Kelly Clarkson walking away with a Best Pop Vocal Album for her “Stronger Album”. Usher for Best R&B Performance for “Climax”. Beyonce for Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Love On Top”. Gotye won Record of the Year, Best Alternative Album, and Best Pop Duo for his song “Somebody That I Used To Know” which features fellow Aussie, Kimbra.
Fun. came out a big winner for their debut with Best New Artist and Song the the Year for “We Are Young”, even though throughout the night they kept stating “We are old!” (there ages range from 28 to 30 years old). They also performed their latest single “Carry On” with some stage rain for effect.
In the Dance categories, Skrillex took both awards of Best Dance Recording for his single “Bangarang”, and Best Dance/Electronica Album of the same name.
Mumford & Sons won the highest award of the night, Album of the Year.
Introduced by Ellen Degeneres & Beyonce, Justin Timberlake returned to the Grammy stage to perform his new single “Suit & Tie” along with Jay-Z. Most of the night was filled with promo commercials for his album, “The 20/20 Experience”, being sold at Target when it’s drops on March 19th.
Other performances throughout the night were Frank Ocean performing “Forest Gump”, who also won in the new category of Best Urban Contemporary. Maroon 5 with Alicia Keys, on the drums, performed “Daylight”. Rihanna softened up with her single “Stay”. Bruno Mars was joined on stage with Sting, Rihanna, and the Marley brothers for a tribute to reggae and Bob Marley.
The night was closed out by LL Cool J showing us he hasn’t forgotten his rap skills, but after hour 3 rolled around, it was bad timing to try and get an average CBS watcher to stay up a past 10pm.
